Just a quick update on the progress of our construction.
I arrived in the area on July 21st and promptly proceeded to sprain my ankle. No hiking for me this trip. I am able to hobble around so will spend more time at the house and driving through the park.
There was significant progress during the last couple of weeks. They finished sealing around the sill plate and started to install the soffit. The windows are installed and the doors are up. The doors still need locks, etc. but they are up. They started on the front porch.
The bulk of the wiring and plumbing has been roughed in. There are some problems with the wiring but I will work with the contractors on that this week. The vent channels have been installed along the eaves and that area has been sealed. The floor joists have also been sealed. The bath tub is in place.
I will post more pictures on "Our Little House on the Prairie" site tonight (or maybe tomorrow).
I am off to Livingston now. I have been having trouble getting to talk to anyone at WispWest except the receptionist. In May we held a sit-it in the office until we got to see someone. I may have to do that this week. We are ready for them and I need information so I can decide on the size of the IP block to purchase as well as specifications on the interface hardware.
I must also go to Bozeman sometime this week to pick up the washer and dryer.
I have meetings set up with the security people and the electrician. I brought the security camera out this time and have to review the setup with WispWest, the electrician and the security service. All three will be involved with that. This is an exterior camera with a operating range of +120 to -55.
That is all for now.
