Our plans are to stay in the house for our Memorial Day trip. We should be there on or about May 25th. Deb will leave shortly after Memorial Day. We are discussing whether I should stay until we are finished with phase 2 of the construction. That is the out building that will be our temporary garage. So I may be out until sometime in mid-July. I would have the dogs with me so that will be interesting. We are still discussing it and we may decide that I should make monthly trips like I did last year.
If I stay over I will be there when you and Art come out. You could visit the house then. I will let you know what our decision is in a couple of weeks.
I still have some aches from the NYE adventure. I stained one of my neck muscles real bad and it is still giving me trouble. The collar helps.
My recovery from the eye surgery is progressing well but extremely slowly. The surgeon says that is because of my age and the amount of damage that had to be repaired. He hopes to be able to discharge me back to my regular doctor sometime in March. I just have to be patient.
I was not able to make my work trip to Mississippi this year. I am not allowed to be in any dusty environments and since the reconstruction from Katrina creates very dirty working conditions, I have had to pass it up. Maybe next year.
